Google shakes up YouTube search… unveils AI-based 'Ask YouTube'

Google has started testing Ask YouTube, an AI-powered search experience for YouTube.

Users can ask questions in natural language and get AI-generated summaries plus organized video and Shorts results.

The trial is currently limited to U.S. adult YouTube Premium subscribers.

Early tests showed the feature can be helpful, but also produced some factual errors, raising accuracy concerns.
