YouTube to begin automatically labeling AI videos

YouTube is expanding its AI video labeling system with more prominent labels and new automatic detection.

The platform will use internal signals to flag videos with significant photorealistic AI use, not just creator disclosures.

Creator disclosure rules still apply, and some metadata-verified cases will keep permanent labels.
