Report: Apple to upgrade Genmoji in iOS 27 with new automatic suggestions

Apple is reportedly planning an optional Suggested Genmoji feature for iOS 27 and iPadOS 27.

The tool would generate emoji-style prompts from users’ photos and frequently typed phrases, building on Genmoji and Apple Intelligence.

If it works well, the feature could make Genmoji more mainstream and easier to use.

But it also raises questions about privacy, accuracy, and whether the suggestions will feel truly useful.
