Director Infamous for Terrible Video Game Movies Announces ‘Unofficial Sequel’ to House of the Dead 23 Years Later

Uwe Boll says he is coming out of retirement for a new project, an unofficial House of the Dead sequel titled 23 Years Later — The Castle of the Dead.

He made the move after learning that Paul W. S. Anderson is developing an official reboot of the 2003 video game adaptation.

Boll also secured rights for another Alone in the Dark movie, adding to his long history with game-based films.

He says Citizen Vigilante is already in post-production.
