Spotify to Add ‘Reserved’ Feature That Lets Subscribers Secure Live Tickets in Advance

Spotify unveiled “Reserved by Spotify,” a new perk for Premium users aged 18+ at its annual investor event.

The feature identifies highly engaged fans and lets them reserve up to two concert tickets before public on-sale.

It will start in the U.S. this summer through Live Nation and other ticketing partners, including Ticketmaster.

The move expands Spotify’s role in live-event ticketing and could increase the value of Premium subscriptions.
