Steam Deck gets major price hike from Valve amid RAM shortage

Valve has raised U.S. Steam Deck prices by $240 to $300, with the OLED models seeing the biggest jumps.

The 512 GB OLED version is now $789, up from $549, and the 1 TB model has risen to $949 from $649.

The 256 GB LCD model is no longer listed after months of stock problems tied to RAM shortages.

Valve says the remaining models are still available, with faster shipping estimates, but the device is now far less affordable.
