Apple Issues Rare iOS 18 Security Update to Protect Against DarkSword Exploit

Apple released a new build of iOS 18.7.7 and iPadOS 18.7.7 to address the DarkSword exploit.

The update was initially limited to iPhone XS and XR but is now available for other iPhones.

Devices running iOS 26 were already protected against DarkSword, so Apple pushed the fix to users who stayed on iOS 18.
