The Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum have been turned into retrofuturistic handhelds

Blaze Entertainment announced The Spectrum and The C64, handhelds that reimagine the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 as portable gaming devices.

Each system includes 25 bundled retro games, a 4.3-inch 800x480 display, USB-C charging, audio features, and optional USB support for keyboards and joysticks.

The handhelds are available for preorder through Funstock starting at $129.99, with shipments expected in October 2026 or later.

Game libraries can be expanded with microSD cards, reinforcing the appeal of nostalgia-focused hardware with modern convenience.
