au Starlink Direct expands services including SOS proxy, aiming for an early-mover advantage

KDDI is expanding au Starlink Direct with a 24/7 SOS Center for proxy emergency calling.

Selected UQ mobile plans will get free access, while supported countries and roaming coverage are also increasing.

The service is also adding IoT connectivity and secure enterprise closed-network options via Starlink Business.
