US missile motor maker X-Bow reaches new milestone for faster weapons output

X-Bow Systems earned approval for full production operations at its Texas facility through the Air Force Research Laboratory’s RE-ARM program.

The company is advancing two solid rocket motor manufacturing systems: a fixed propellant plant and a portable containerized unit.

The move shifts X-Bow from prototyping toward industrial-scale output as the Pentagon seeks to broaden missile supply options.

The expansion supports U.S. efforts to reduce reliance on a small group of contractors and rebuild weapons inventories.
