Nintendo Announces Sweeping Price Hikes For Switch 2

Nintendo is raising prices for Switch 2 hardware in Western markets and for all Switch models in Japan.

Nintendo Switch Online fees will also go up in Japan, with changes planned for South Korea as well.

The increases take effect on staggered dates in 2026 and reflect Nintendo’s response to market conditions.

The move could make consoles and online services more expensive for consumers and affect demand.
