Gemini expands app features with deeper thinking

Google is rolling out a new Gemini Thinking level selector for Standard or Extended reasoning on some models.

Support docs also point to upcoming Gemini integrations with Canva, Instacart, and OpenTable.

Those app connections have not launched yet, but they suggest Gemini is expanding beyond basic chat into more task-oriented AI.
