OpenAI and PwC collaborate to reimagine the office of the CFO

OpenAI and PwC are partnering to build and deploy AI agents for finance teams.

The focus is on core CFO workflows like planning, forecasting, reporting, procurement, payments, treasury, tax, and close.

OpenAI’s own finance organization will serve as a testbed to validate workflows, controls, and human-agent collaboration.

If successful, the effort could speed up finance operations and provide a practical model for enterprise AI adoption.
