Nintendo Switch’s Virtual Boy pays off with 2 newly released games

Nintendo is bringing two unreleased Virtual Boy games, D-Hopper and Zero Racers, to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

Both titles were planned for release in 1996 but were canceled when the Virtual Boy failed.

The additions expand the Virtual Boy library on Switch and Switch 2, alongside new Virtual Boy music on Nintendo Music.

The move preserves lost retro content and makes decades-old canceled games playable for the first time.
