Firefox's rounded new design can now be tried in Firefox Nightly

Mozilla has rolled out a new Firefox UI in Nightly as part of Project Nova.

The update adds rounded tabs and icons, plus the return of Compact Mode.

Users can choose window density from Appearance settings: Standard, Touch, or Compact.

The redesign is slated for a stable release in late 2026, with feedback being gathered now.
