CXMT’s LPDDR6 Clears R&D Verification at 12.8 Gbps, Inching Closer to a Full Mass-Production Push – Report

Chinese memory maker CXMT reportedly completed R&D verification for its LPDDR6 chips.

The first parts are cited at 12.8 Gbps design speed, 10.7 Gbps base speed, 16Gb density, and a 1295 Ball POP package.

Next steps would be small-batch import validation, followed by mass production.

If CXMT reaches volume output, it could expand China’s role in memory and pressure incumbents in low-power AI and mobile memory.
