Apple's boring update is exactly the one to install: iOS 26.6 fixes 78 security holes

Apple has released iOS 26.6 and related updates for supported devices.

The patch fixes 78 vulnerability entries across 87 CVEs, including issues in the kernel, WebKit, app isolation, code-signing, ads identifiers, and network protections.

Several flaws could have enabled remote code execution, privilege escalation, phishing, tracking, or bypasses of built-in security controls.

Users are urged to update iPhones and other Apple devices as soon as possible.
