Pilot Victor Glover flew Orion through close proximity maneuvers using its 24 reaction control thrusters.

All Orion thrusters operated without failures during the multi-hour test, NASA said.

NASA plans to launch Orion on Artemis III next year and dock it with one or both lunar landers in low-Earth orbit.

Orion will perform a lunar flyby and Artemis IV will use a lunar lander to transport crew to and from the surface.
