SEMI Data: Global Silicon Wafer Shipments in Q2 2026 Rose 7.4% YoY and 9.1% QoQ - IT Home

According to data released by SEMI’s Silicon Manufacturers Group, global silicon wafer shipments reached 3,573 million square inches in Q2 2026.

That marked a 7.4% increase year over year and a 9.1% rise quarter over quarter.

SEMI said demand tied to AI remains strong, lifting demand across advanced logic, memory, power devices, and photonics.

Recovery in the industrial and automotive markets also supported the increase in shipments.
