Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max Debuts With Xiaomi Kunlun Super Extended-Range System: CLTC Combined Range Reaches 1,705km With 6.26L/100km Discharged Fuel Consumption

Xiaomi unveiled the Kunlun Super Extended-Range System and its first model using it, the Pengcheng N90 Max, at a July 30 launch event.

The full-size SUV offers 6.26L/100km fuel consumption when discharged, up to 1,705km CLTC combined range, and 505km of pure electric driving from a 76kWh battery.

Xiaomi says the system required major component redesigns, supports multiple gasoline grades, and reduces engine maintenance frequency.

Pre-sales start at 259,900 yuan, with market launch planned for September 2026; Xiaomi has also opened six dedicated Pengcheng stores nationwide.

The move pushes Xiaomi into the fast-growing extended-range EV market, where it will compete with Li Auto, AITO, and Leapmotor.
