Valve releases Steam Controller CAD files under Creative Commons license

Valve has published Steam Controller shell CAD files under a Creative Commons license.

The release includes STP, STL, and engineering drawings for the controller and puck shells.

Owners and modders can now more easily repair, replace, 3D-print, and customize parts.

The move supports right-to-repair efforts and could help aftermarket accessory development.
