World’s largest EV-maker’s ‘God’s Eye’ driver-assistance system could achieve zero accidents

BYD unveiled a new push for its God’s Eye driver-assistance platform, pairing a goal of zero traffic accidents with crash-cost coverage in qualifying cases.

The company said the policy applies when the approved system is active, aiming to boost consumer trust in intelligent driving.

BYD is also investing in in-house automotive chips to support the platform and lower costs.

At about $1,770, God’s Eye is priced to expand advanced driver-assistance into more mass-market EVs.
