iOS 26.5 is here: How to get it, top new features

Apple has rolled out iOS 26.5 for iPhone 11 and newer, with security and usability upgrades.

The update adds end-to-end encrypted RCS, plus simpler USB-C accessory pairing for devices like Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard.

Apple Maps now includes ads and Suggested Places recommendations, expanding Apple’s monetization in Maps.

iPhone users also get more control over transferring attachments to Android, along with a new Pride Luminance motion wallpaper.
