EXPO 1.2 only brings partial CUDIMM support due to lack of native IMC compatibility — Asus also working on updating older B650 and X670 boards with EXPO 1.2

ASUS has launched EXPO 1.2 support on X870 motherboards and is expanding it to more 800-series boards through beta BIOS updates.

Older X670 and B650 boards may also receive support later, widening AMD AM5 DDR5 compatibility.

Current Ryzen 7000, 8000G, and 9000 systems can run CUDIMMs only in bypass mode, so they do not get the modules’ full speed advantages yet.

Full native CUDIMM support will likely depend on future Ryzen silicon, potentially including Zen 6.
