Anthropic limits access to Mythos, its new cybersecurity AI model

Anthropic launched a new cybersecurity AI model, Claude Mythos Preview, for a select group of customers.

Access is limited — Claude Mythos Preview will be available only to vetted organizations.

Named customers include Amazon, Apple and Microsoft.

Vetted organizations listed for access include Broadcom, Cisco and CrowdStrike.

Anthropic is in discussions with the US government about Mythos; Mythos descriptions and other documents were found in a public data cache and the internal source code for Claude Code was made public; Dianne Na Penn is head of product management, research at Anthropic.
