Apple’s self-designed AI server chip “Baltra” may be manufactured by TSMC

Apple and Broadcom’s Baltra AI server chip is reportedly slated for TSMC’s N3E process.

The chip may use Samsung Electro-Mechanics substrates and support Apple’s security-focused cloud services.

If accurate, the move would expand Apple’s in-house AI infrastructure and reduce reliance on NVIDIA hardware.

It could also help Apple lower data-center and cloud computing costs.
