IGEL breaks down the wall between IT and OT

IGEL is expanding its platform to bring IT-level manageability and security to OT environments.

The company highlighted IMH and IMC as technical enablers that virtualize legacy hardware and run containers on edge devices.

IGEL emphasized its Preventative Security Model and immutable IGEL OS as core defenses, and announced 23 updates at Now & Next 2026.

IGEL cited OT use cases with Honeywell and Audi and is working on ARM support with Qualcomm for Snapdragon 6490.
