New electronic warfare system can locate enemy drones, radars without sending signals

Leonardo unveiled Guardian Vantage at AOC Europe in Finland, a passive electronic warfare and signals intelligence system.

It monitors the electromagnetic spectrum to detect, identify, and locate hostile drone, radar, and communications emissions without exposing its own position.

The system can also transcribe and translate intercepted radio traffic, improving battlefield awareness and force protection.

Guardian Vantage is built for multiple platforms with an open architecture and is marketed as export-friendly because it has no ITAR restrictions.
