Apple Releases iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5 With End-to-End Encrypted RCS, New Wallpaper, and Maps Updates

Apple has released iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5, bringing beta end-to-end encrypted RCS for supported carriers.

The update also adds a new Pride Luminance wallpaper and a Suggested Places feature in Maps.

Apple rolled out companion security updates for older devices as the release cycle moves toward iOS 27.
