Singapore startup Acrab has unveiled Gelix 1, a compact AI chip.

The chip features a 20-core ARM CPU, 273GB/s unified-memory bandwidth, and claimed support for models up to 100B parameters.

Acrab says Gelix 1 beat Apple’s M4 Pro in AI inference tests, but the results remain unverified.

Pricing has not been disclosed; if validated, it could become a small-footprint option for local AI workloads.
