Clear even on a shaky subway... Xreal unveils budget AR glasses 'a01'

Xreal unveiled the a01, its first product under the new sub-brand X by Xreal, starting at $299.

The lightweight AR glasses weigh 62g and feature anti-shake software, swappable frames, and up to 1,600 nits of brightness.

Xreal says the device is tuned for watching content on the move, such as on subways or planes, with support for HDR10.

The a01 is set to launch in the U.S. in July, as Xreal pushes a more affordable path to AR adoption.
