Official New Witcher 3 Release Coming Next Year Will Be a Must-Play Before Witcher 4

CD Projekt Red says The Witcher 3 will get a new expansion, Songs of the Past, in 2027.

The studio says it is partly tied to The Witcher 4, but not a direct lead-in; it will focus on Geralt.

The expansion may serve as a transition away from Geralt before Witcher 4 shifts attention to Ciri.

It will not launch on PS4 or Xbox One, and Nintendo platforms are also unlikely to receive it.
