CNET says Tribit’s Stormbox Micro 3 is a strong third-gen ultra-portable speaker with better sound than its predecessor.

It adds useful extras like magnetic mounting, stereo pairing, app controls, USB-C charging output, and up to 24 hours of battery life.

The trade-offs are a fairly plain design, some distortion at high volume, and only average speakerphone quality.

Even so, CNET still sees it as a strong value pick that undercuts premium rivals like Bose’s SoundLink Micro 2.
