Google’s Nest app is down for many in widespread outage

Many users are seeing a service connection error in Google’s legacy Nest app on both iPhone and Android.

Reports have continued for hours, but the Nest status dashboard does not show an outage.

The issue is affecting users who still manage older Nest devices through the Nest app rather than Google Home.

Google has not yet publicly acknowledged the problem.
