Dell announces the low-cost laptop PC "XPS 13" to rival the MacBook Neo, weighing just 1 kg and the thinnest and lightest model in the XPS series

Dell unveiled the XPS 13 (DX13260) at Computex 2026, a new 13.4-inch premium laptop starting at $699, or $599 for students.

Dell says it is its thinnest and lightest XPS yet, at about 1kg and 12.7mm thick.

Config options include Intel Core 5 320 or Core Ultra 7 355, up to 32GB LPDDR5X, Wi‑Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4 on higher trims, and a 52Wh battery.

The launch is aimed at challenging Apple’s low-cost MacBook Neo in the entry-level premium notebook segment, with shipments beginning in June 2026.
