Apple says supply constraints for Mac mini and Mac Studio to persist for several months

Apple says demand for the Mac mini and Mac Studio is running ahead of forecasts, driven in part by interest in AI and agentic-use workloads.

Tim Cook said production is being constrained by limited advanced-node capacity and tight memory supply, keeping output below demand.

Apple expects the shortage to last for several more months and also sees tight supply for the MacBook Neo.

The issue highlights how AI-driven demand and semiconductor bottlenecks are still affecting Apple’s hardware business.
