New Apple TV and HomePod Mini Reportedly 'Nearly Ready to Launch'

Apple is reportedly close to launching refreshed Apple TV and HomePod mini models this fall.

Bloomberg says the updated devices could arrive around September or October, with largely unchanged designs.

The new Apple TV may use an A17 Pro-class chip, while the HomePod mini is expected to get an S9-class chip or newer for Siri AI.

Apple may also add a newer wireless chip, improved sound on the HomePod mini, and an updated Siri Remote.

The refresh appears tied to Apple’s broader Siri AI rollout and home hardware plans.
