Google adds AI prompt-saving feature “Skills” to Chrome (starting in the US)

Google added a Chrome feature called Skills that lets users save frequently used Gemini prompts and reuse them across webpages.

The feature is rolling out first in the U.S. for Chrome users with English settings and includes an editable library of shared Skills.

It reduces repetitive prompting and helps make AI-assisted browsing more consistent across sites.

Actions like sending email or adding calendar events still require user confirmation.
