BYD’s Fangchengbao Unveils Formula X Sports Car, Set to Launch Next Year

BYD’s Fangchengbao unveiled its first sports car, the Formula X, at the Beijing auto show on April 24.

BYD says the concept will move into production next year, with the retail model largely preserving the design.

The production version is expected to add a carbon-fiber body, advanced aero parts, and distinctive doors and displays.

The debut highlights Fangchengbao’s move from premium SUVs into high-performance sports cars.
