JAL delivers cargo to the Moon, becoming the first airline to offer a lunar transport service

JALUX and ispace signed a payload transport deal for ispace’s planned 2028 Mission 3 to the Moon.

Starting May 27, JAL and JALUX will sell lunar transport slots to the public, including companies and local governments.

The JAL Group plans to send regional products and cultural records in dedicated boxes to preserve them for the future.

The move turns lunar cargo transport into a new business market for airlines and opens a path for moon-bound branding and heritage projects.
