Spotify will read magazine articles to you for $2 each as it further expands beyond music

Spotify is launching a new Articles feature with audio versions of more than 650 long-form magazine pieces.

Premium subscribers can access articles within usage limits, while non-subscribers can buy individual pieces for $1.99.

The feature starts in English and is produced by Spotify’s Audiobooks team.

Publisher partners include Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, Vogue, Variety, Billboard, Vibe, GQ, WIRED, Vanity Fair, and Pitchfork.
