Apple Donating to Japan Earthquake Relief Efforts

Apple said it will donate to support relief efforts after a deadly earthquake hit Japan’s Kumamoto prefecture.

CEO Tim Cook said the company is responding to the damage caused by the magnitude 6.8 quake and ongoing aftershocks.

The quake struck Kyushu island, leaving deaths and significant property damage as rescue efforts continued.

The move reflects Apple’s history of supporting recovery efforts after major natural disasters in Japan.
