Verified by Spotify badge lets you know this artist isn’t AI

Spotify is rolling out a new “Verified by Spotify” badge for eligible artists.

The company will use signals like listener activity, social presence, merch sales, and tour dates to confirm real-person artists.

At launch, AI personas and profiles mainly uploading AI-generated tracks will be excluded.

The badge is meant to help listeners trust that an artist profile is authentic, not spam or AI-driven.
