Chrome on Android now supports approximate instead of precise location sharing

Chrome on Android now lets users share approximate location with websites instead of exact coordinates when precision isn’t needed.

Precise location is still available for services and sites that require it, preserving core functionality.

Google says it will bring the feature to desktop Chrome and add APIs so developers can request the accuracy level they need.
