CS2's redesigned Cache map is finally coming, and I can't wait

Valve has shown an early look at the Cache remake for Counter-Strike 2, revealing the T-side spawn with refreshed lighting and textures.

The teaser follows earlier hints in the game code and suggests the long-absent map could be making a comeback.

Cache was removed from the active pool in 2019, so its return would be a notable addition for CS2 players.

The reveal also highlights Valve’s broader effort to update classic maps for Source 2, alongside recent CS2 changes.
