OpenAI launches workspace agents that turn ChatGPT from a chatbot into a team automation platform

OpenAI has introduced workspace agents in ChatGPT to automate team workflows.

Powered by Codex, the agents can access files, apps, memory, and scheduling to complete multi-step tasks.

Actions are approval-based, and the feature is now in research preview for business and education plans.
