Independent cyber audit finds zero malware or backdoors in DJI drones — U.S. firm's hardware analysis challenges FCC ban amid ongoing $1.56 billion legal battle

DJI hired U.S. firm OnDefend to audit the Air 3S and Matrice 4E for five months.

The report found no critical, high, or medium-risk issues, no hidden backdoors, and no evidence of data leaving the U.S.

Only 10 low-risk issues were identified, with continued testing recommended.

DJI is using the findings in its lawsuit against the FCC, which has blocked new foreign-made drones from U.S. authorization.
