High energy density lithium metal battery pack to power 1850-pound eVTOL aircraft

SES AI signed a framework agreement with Doroni Aerospace to design battery systems for the H1-X eVTOL.

The multi-phase project could run through 2027 and be worth up to $1.09 million.

Work will support ground and flight testing, with options to expand into future production efforts.
