Google checks websites for llms.txt in new agentic browsing audit

Google Lighthouse has added an experimental “Agentic Browsing” audit for AI-ready websites.

It checks for WebMCP integration, accessibility-tree quality, layout stability, and llms.txt support.

Instead of a single score, the provisional test reports pass ratios and remains experimental.

The move hints at how Google may judge sites for AI-agent tasks like bookings, form filling, and comparisons.
