This summer’s Xbox Games Showcase is confirmed for June, followed by a Gears of War E-Day Direct

Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will livestream on Sunday, June 7 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

Immediately after the Showcase, The Coalition will present Gears of War: E-Day Direct, covering Emergence Day with new details, gameplay and origin-story insights.

The Showcase will feature first gameplay and news from first-party studios and third-party partners; Fable, Halo: Campaign Evolved and Minecraft Dungeons are confirmed for later in 2026.

Other in-development projects—Clockwork Revolution, State of Decay 3, Kojima Productions’ OD and an untitled Toys for Bob game—may also appear.

Xbox FanFest will return to celebrate Xbox’s 25th anniversary, and the Showcase takes place the same weekend as Summer Game Fest (Friday, June 5 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles).
